This master planning project comprises 44 plots along with amenities like a play area, club, jogging track, etc and the concept revolves around designing spaces that encourage one to live close to nature. Woods form the core of this scheme where over 50% of the site area is a meandering biodiversity corridor. The open spaces house the community features and amenities, with direct pedestrian access to every home. The design and planning of this project highlight the connection between nature and social living and how it can be used to create a healthy, well-balanced, and wholesome life for the occupants. The design features encourage community living, bringing together families, friends and neighborhoods. They pique the curiosity of the inhabitants and bring them out into the open to explore the nature around them and escape from the humdrum of daily life. We replaced traditional ideas where we chose hedges over walls, bio-swales over drains, open grid paving over tarred roads, and people and nature over buildings.
